I now added this older version back temporarily because the new improved version has a waiting list of 4-12 weeks. Many of you are in a hurry, and it’s frustrating to wait to get Acuity tracking running. So you can get this simple version first, get tracking running instantly. It’s important to start training Meta and Google algorithms with conversions, with some level of tracking. And if you are ambitious, we can later upgrade to my new improved tracking for significant boost in ad performance, when I again have availability to take on new Acuity tracking clients.

Basically, whenever the waiting time for the new improved version gets too long, I enable this older DIY-installed Acuity tracking setup so you can get Acuity conversion tracking working today if you like. It’s a good starting point, just not the best one. After fixing dozens of faulty setups done by random UpWork / Fiverr freelancers, I’d estimate that this older DIY-setup is 5-10x better than a random freelancer from Fiverr or Upwork. But my new version is 2-10x better than this depending on which ad platforms you use.

I’m making processes to get the new improved version installed faster but it’s really complex, the new app must be plugged into 6 places: Acuity integrations, your website, Google Tag Manager, Acuity APIs, Google Ads APIs, and Meta CAPI. A lot of setup needs to be done, and I also need to run a thorough check of existing tags, settings, bidding strategies, embed methods and more.

It’s enterprise-level conversion tracking which has been traditionally reserved for big corporations with huge tracking budgets. But I’ve made it affordable for small to medium size businesses.
